Broken

I have a broken camera
and I don't know what to do.

The help says just to hit it
but my palms are turning blue.

The zoom won't close, it beeps at me
I think I'm going to cry

I know it said to hit it
but maybe I should pry?

Halloween

Here is Cedric's Halloween costume. He is a fish, we also go hammer head shark and frog (the didn't see the back)

We had practiced wearing it all week and I was worried that we would not keep it on but he loved it. It wore it for the whole church party and all night trick-or-treating.

He did a great job trick-or-treating, the two doors he tried to go into the house when they opened the door but he figured it out fast. He would say thank you to everyone and blew kisses and waved goodbye.
We only went to a few houses but he still had fun.
The best part is this neighborhood gives out the best candy!!
We even got a full sized snickers...Neal ate it.

When the going gets tough, the tough gets unfashionable.

Perfect!

When I first wrote this title I left it without punctuation, then I thought, "Oh that needs a period." but it just looked weird. How many times do you just see the word perfect without an exclamation point?
Perfect.
Perfect!

I mean I guess it works if you are being sarcastic but we try to refrain from that right :)

Any way a couple weekends ago we went to the pumpkin patch.

It was wonderful! (again I tried a period but it just didn't work)

They had these face things all over. What is the real name for these things anyway?

Sorry this is fuzzy but he ran around the corner and I was scaring him so it was shaky.

He loved this teeter-totter. He loved it when the other side would make him jump at the top. This cute girl however didn't like it as much but they compromised, you know since C is 18 months and is so level headed about everything. (oops I was sarcastic!.!..and confused)

He had to work for his pumpkin.

I always look for the perfectly round pumpkins that are a nice orange,  Neal looks for the ones with character (worts) and Cedric looks for any pumpkin he can pick up.  What is your perfect pumpkin?

Hello? Anyone there?

Yes I have the internet again.  I only took a two week wait.  I guess thats what happens  when you move to a big city.  It also took two weeks to get TV and our antenna only got 2 english channels.  It was amazing how much good family time we have had and how much money we have spent on redbox movies.

So the house is coming along very well.  I have the garage and food storage to put away but those are my least favorate things to do so there sit the boxes.

We have great access to the freeway but we still have a bit of a drive to get to Walmarts/Targets/Safeway.  And our nearest Redbox we have found is 10 minutes away.  I know not horrible but still I liked being able to walk there, it helped me feel less lazy about sitting around watching a movie.

Neighbors seems very nice and we have a good walking patch right out of our neighborhood fence.

Sorry no pictures yet.

Miss all my people in Utah!

Do I have to share?

Last Sunday I made this yummy dinner

I also made this yummy dessert

http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/
Except I took out half the Margarine and added Peanut Butter

Then after Cedric was done spreading the rice all over the table, himself, and the floor I got some toys for him.
Then I snuck around into the kitchen, cut me some dessert, sat on the floor and ate.
You see I have issue with sharing my dessert.

Alas, he found me

Of course I was on my third helpings so it wasn't as hard to share as I thought.

A Sad Season to Start

Thus begins my live as a blogger. First post and it is bitter sweet as the reason I am creating by blog is because I am leaving my wonderful friends. My family and I are selling our house and moving to California. We are excited for this new adventure but sad to leave our friends and family.
After five days on the market our house is under contract.

We had to do a lot of work in the yard to get it ready so hear are some before and after photos.

The back yard.  We just reused these same bricks as well as some that were in the side yard to do the back patio we now have
Tada!!!

This looks even better now that I rearranged it a little and put down some bark.

My Mom did the majority of this project while I was on bed rest and then while I was lying in bed with baby C. She had to dig a 4foot x 12foot hole for that patio. What we wanted to do next was put a door from the basement out to the patio. Alas, this will not happen.

I don't have pictures of the side and front for the before pictures but believe me it was really bad!!! a yucky chain fence in front a falling down fence with an ugly patio step then on the side. I don't know what these people were thinking. But so you can appreciate everything we accomplished in 3 days here is where we stopped in July because it was too hot for C and I to work. (we did had the stone wall that was not there before)

Yes I built those steps all by myself!

This is the side yard,  There was half a path of broken cement under all of those weeds haha

And now
MOVE THAT BUS!!

A huge thank you to the Hamilton family. They laid all this new sod in an hour! AMAZING!

Thank you to the Dalley's for taking all of our leftovers we didn't know where we were going to put it all

A great big thank you to my Mom for the beautiful back yard. It has been wonderful.

Of course thank you to the Longhurst Family for all of their time and help. There is no way we could have done this with out you!
